How to Add a DMCA Badge to a WordPress Blog
It’s really easy to add a DMCA badge to your blog. It shouldn’t take more than five minutes.
The first step is that you must visit the DMCA website here and register your account by filling in your First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email Address.
If you want to create a free account then click on ‘send‘. I would advise you to start with a free account. Then you can upgrade to Pro if needed.
After you log into your account, you will find the DMCA Protection Badge there. Although there is DMCA WordPress plugin
which allows you to install a protection badge on your site, but I don’t recommend installing the plugin, because simply dropping it in a text widget is fine.
Now you need to select a badge or badges and copy the code. Add widget texts on the blog sidebar / footer and paste the code there. How to log in WordPress »Appearance» Widgets »text, paste the html code there and put it in the sidebar and footer of your site.
